Plot Summary

"05:55" is a unique fiction film that depicts the daily activities of villagers in (Bantul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia) area before a strong earthquake occurred on May 27, 2006. The film is a record of a personal experience of the director who wants to invite us to feel terrified when an earthquake occurs. Sense of loss, fear, anxiety, and trauma victims into deep reflection for us just how small we are compared to the power of the Nature.
